your halo guidebook ☁️ tips, settings & everything you need to start shooting dreamy pics
power on
press and hold the power button. your halo will automatically turn on and you'll hear a "click" sound
taking photos
- insert your SD card, then press the power button to turn on the halo cam
2. press the shutter button briefly to take a photo. a ‘click’ sound indicates that shooting has started. the blue working light will flash & when the blue light stays on, the photo has been saved successfully
3. after taking a photo, the display screen will increase the photo count by one
flashlight usage
- when the flash toggle switch is set to OFF, the flash function is disabled
- when the flash toggle switch is set to ON, the flash will fire once every time a photo is taken
- when the flash toggle switch is set to AUTO, the flash will automatically adjust based on the shooting environment: it will not work in bright conditions, and it will work in low-light conditions
viewing photos
connect the camera to your phone or a computer using the included type-C USB data cable, then look through your memories stored on the SD card <3
auto power-off
if the camera is turned on and no operation is performed, it will automatically power off after 10 minutes
charging
when the device displays a low-voltage warning and shuts down, it must be charged. use the Type-C charging cable included. the indicator light turns red while charging and goes off when fully charged
reset
if your halo cam malfunctions during use due to improper operation or other abnormalities and can no longer function properly, a reset is required. use a small pin-like tool to press the reset button through the reset slot - this can be found next to the SD card slot

date / time settings
before setting these parameters, remove the screws from the bottom cover of the camera and take off the cover. then follow the steps below:
1. long press the [MODE ] button. this enters the date adjustment mode; the display will show blinking digits, representing the year
use the [UP] and [DOWN] buttons to adjust the value
2. press the [MODE ] button briefly again. this enters the month adjustment mode; the display will show blinking digits, representing the month. use the [ UP ] and [ DOWN ] buttons to adjust the value
3. press the [MODE ] button briefly again. this enters the day adjustment mode; the display will show blinking digits representing the day. use the [UP] and [ DOWN ] buttons to change the value
4. press the [ MODE ] button briefly again. this enters the hour adjustment mode; the display will show blinking digits representing the hour. use the [UP] and [ DOWN] buttons to change the value
5. press the [ MODE ] button briefly again. this enters the minute adjustment mode; the display will show blinking digits representing the minutes. use the [ UP ] and [ DOWN ] buttons to change the value
6. press the [ MODE ] button briefly again. this enters the key tone volume adjustment mode; the display will show blinking digits representing the key tone volume level. Use the [ UP ] and [DOWN] buttons to change the value. there are three levels in total; 0 means mute
7. press the [ MODE ] button briefly again. this enters the timestamp mode; the display will show blinking digits representing the timestamp mode. use the [UP] and DOWN] buttons to adjust the numerical values; 0 means off and 1 means on
8. press the [ MODE ] button briefly again. this saves the settings and exits the setup mode. the display will return to showing the number of photos taken. the value indicates the number of photos already stored on the SD card
halo cam filters
change the vibe of your halo in minutes 💌 switch between dreamy film moods using the buttons below, plug in your halo cam to change the filter on your laptop
1. plug your halo cam into your computer
2. choose one of the filters below
3. download the file
4. once the file has downloaded, copy or drag this file into the root directory of your camera SD card (next to the files containing your images)
when you start the halo cam, "LOAD" will appear for a second - that means the settings loaded a custom filter.
the halo camera can only load one custom file at a time - if you have multiple filter files on your camera, it will pick the first one
switch to b&w or 2000s glow and create your own dreamy little film-inspired vibe 📸
